How My Woodworking Journey Started
Woodworking began as a simple garage hobby, spending evenings shaping lumber and mastering the trade. Driven by growing customer requests, I took the leap full-time in 2017, officializing Dave's Woodworks And Lazer Designs. Today, I combine traditional woodworking with self-taught CNC and laser engraving skills to turn raw timber into detailed, built-to-last flags, cutting boards, and custom furniture.
Crafted With You In Mind
I believe custom woodwork should tell your personal story. Whether you need a wedding gift, a memorial flag, or a garden planter, I guide you through the whole process—from wood selection to digital proofs. I keep you involved every step of the way to ensure your finished piece matches your exact vision before it leaves my shop.

Meet The Artisan
David Miller, Owner And Master Craftsman
Hi, I’m Dave, the maker behind Dave’s Woodworks And Lazer Designs. What started over ten years ago as a simple hobby in my garage quickly grew into a full-time passion, leading me to officially launch my business back in 2017. Over the years, I’ve taught myself the ins and outs of precision CNC routing and detailed laser engraving, pairing modern technology with traditional, hands-on woodworking techniques.
Operating out of my shop in Central Point, Oregon, I take genuine pride in building everything from patriotic wooden flags and personalized cutting boards to custom slab benches and live-edge tables. I personally handle every step of the process—selecting the wood, fine-tuning your artwork, and applying the final finish. I work directly with each customer on digital proofs so you know exactly what to expect, ensuring every finished piece is built to last and tailored specifically to your story.
Crafted Precision
I personally select each board, then use CNC and laser tools for crisp, reliable engraving.
Truly Custom
I invite your ideas, add names, dates, logos, and artwork, then share proofs before engraving.
Trusted Maker
Since 2017, I have handcrafted small-batch pieces, balancing traditional woodworking with precise CNC and laser detailing.
